Mental Illness Awareness Week (MIAW) is September 30 – October 6, 2012

MIAW is a national education campaign which aims to promote a public conversation on the need for early intervention and increased access to appropriate mental health services for all Canadians. The Faces of Mental Illness campaign, a key initiative of MIAW, features the inspirational untold stories of Canadians living with mental illness in the hopes of raising awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental illness.
